A Good Day.

Well I must say I hope that your day has been as good as mine!
Firstly, off course I woke up to my four gorgeous boys (lovely husband, my awesome 2 boys and the cuddly cat, that's always hungry).
Then the day began, today I managed to finish my collage that I really enjoyed making it was a pleasure and I'm happy with it how it turned out, it's up for sale in my etsy shop so I'm hoping someone will like it enough to want it mixed-media-collage.

I also received the most gorgeous parcel with earrings from one of my favorite shops owned by the lovely Gabriela Pomplova GPyoga I am smitten with them and shall be purchasing more from Gabriela when I can again, the packaging was delightful and hand written card so speacil.

This week I also received another lovely package from my swap partner the lovely Ellie from the wonderful blog feltabulous she had made me the most beautiful brooch I could have hope for plus a lovely bracelet and card, Thank you Ellie :o) I so enjoyed our swap and hope you had fun too xxxx Also thanks Jo from Three Stories High for arranging the swap in the first place, I hope you do another soon.

Ya! A Early Birthday Pressies and Busy Busy Busy.

It's only Wednesday and what a week so far, aye!
Had a awesome weekend catching up with one of my favourite people who I have known forever and her lovely hubbie and gorgeous children, I was buzzing when we left alas sad but feeling great after such a nice time, definitely going to do it more often.

I have also been busy making brooches, two of which I sent off this week as part of a exchange and a few others to give as gifts so cannot share any photos at this stage (sorry!) I have started a new collage and been busy doing uni work, whilst arranging my soon to be 8 year olds birthday. He had a awesome surprise today, a friend of mine Rich (Rhythms) wanted to make him his very own djembe drum as a surprise as he knows what a battle Bodie has had and everything and just said he would like to make him a drum, how totally awesome, kind hearted, gorgeous thing to do. It was a total surprise for my lovely boy and a gift he will treasure forever, Thanks Rich we love you :o)
Please check out this cool guy he is on facebook, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rich-Rhythms/242012487098 he is a dream on the drums and does workshops etc for schools and gigs, great for home school group, parties too

Hope everyone is great and life is good, Emma

The Weekend (where has it gone!)

Well can anyone tell me where the weekend has gone! I seemed to have misplaced it! I'm sure it was here just a moment ago!!!
This is definitely how I feel right about now, that and totally exhausted craving a glass of wine and a cold shower, yes surprisingly seeing as it is totally freezing here, wow it just disappeared in a blink of an eye.
I guess I have been busy, finishing the below collage which I really enjoyed the process of making, started on a brooch for a exchange I am taking part in more about that in another post.  I also had a Beaver conference on Saturday as I am a Assistant Beaver leader to a local group, uni work and today the boys had a couple of friends joint party to go to and that's it the weekend gone.

My lovely hubbie bought the below earrings for me today as a wee treat from one of my fav shops on etsy, looking forward to their arrival
How's your weekend been? Good I hope.
